Payment & Registration

How much does the Center Web site cost?

The UPS Store Center Web site has two payment options. You can choose to pay monthly for a fee of $50/month or choose to pay an annual fee of $360/year. If you select the annual payment option you will save $240 over the monthly payment option. You will also be required to pay a one time set up fee of $250 for each center web site.

How do I pay for my center web site?

You can sign up and pay for your center Web site by clicking on the "Sign Up Now!" link and completing the activation form. Center web sites are paid for by the individual centers and you can choose to pay by credit card or you can mail a check to 50 Below. If you choose the monthly payment option, you will be required to pay by credit card.

When will my site be built?

When we receive your order and payment, you will be added to our build queue. Web sites are built 3-5 business days from the time the order and payment is received.

When are my web site renewal fees charged?

Your Web site and WES Pro fees will be charged on the 1st of the month that your Web site and WES Pro services expire. Your Web site and WES Pro services expire on the 1 year anniversary of your Web site or WES Pro going live.

For example, if your Web site went live on July 15th, 2008, your expiration date is July 15th, 2009. In order to ensure that you do not have an interruption of service, we will process your payment on July 1st, 2009. Your new expiration date with be July 15th, 2010.

What will my annual renewal fee be?

Currently, the renewal fee for the annual payment option is $360/yr. If there are any changes to the fee structure, you'll be notified ahead of your renewal date.

How do I set up a check payment?

If you would prefer to pay by check, you can register by calling 866-277-4253 or emailing upslocal@50below.com for details.

Center Web Site Features

How does the printing services request form work?

Customers will be asked to complete the entire form and attach a document to be printed. This will then be emailed directly to you.

Can customers pay for services directly through the web site?

Customers will not be able to submit credit card information on line for printing services or mailbox requests. We do expect to integrate an online payment feature in a future release.

How does the mailbox services agreement page work?

In the web site editor you'll be able to add your center's pricing if you want to. When a customer inputs their contact information and clicks on "Print" a mailbox agreement form will open in a new window for them to print off. You will also receive a copy of their form via email.

What will the URL be for my web site?

The url for your web site will be

What type of reporting is included?

You will be able to see how many visitors are coming to your site and how many hits you have received. Upgrade to WES Pro for more detailed reports, and much more! Read more

How is the News & Updates section updated?

When you have a news release you want to add to your Web site, you simply add the information inside the editor.

How do coupons work?

To customize coupons and upload them to your site visit the Marketing Help Center under:

Creative Warehouse > Misc. Elements > ....... > Blank Coupon Template. (Click here)

After customizing the coupon, download the .pdf and send it in an e-mail with your center number in the subject line and body of the e-mail to localcoupons@50below.com

General Program Questions

Is 50 Below an MBE approved vendor?

TUPSS Approved VendorYes, 50 Below is an approved vendor with MBE. This has been previously announced from Mike Nemirovsky, Web Communications, MBE Home Office in News & Notes.

Will I have to pay for updates to the web site?

As part of your subscription, you will have access to an online web site editor that you can change yourself or you can contact a 50 Below help desk support professional to assist or take care of the update for you. You are not charged for updates.

From time to time, your web site editor will receive upgrades to fix any bugs that arise or add in some new features. These are considered updates to your existing software agreement and you will not be charged for these. As the program evolves, there may be significant product upgrades or add-on products that may be offered and will require additional fees to be paid. You will have the option to add these to your current agreement and they are not required. Any addition of this type will be communicated when they are available.

I have an event coming up. Will 50 Below
attend or provide me some materials?

We can provide event support in several different ways depending on your event. We have provided presentations and brochures, set up special webinars, and participated on conference calls in past. We are also scheduled to attend several vendor shows over the summer. If you have something coming up, email upslocal@50below.com with details about your event, and we'll contact you to plan out support for your event.

What is WES Pro?

The Website Enhancement Service Pro (WES Pro) is an optional optimization and reporting service that boosts the likelihood that prospective customers will find your website on the Internet when using major search engines. WES Pro is the perfect bundle of products and services that helps you achieve your online goals and increase traffic to your Web site.

How much does WES Pro cost?

Currently, WES Pro fees are $360/yr, paid annually.

Is this service approved by MBE?

TUPSS Approved VendorYes. 50 Below is proud to continue to offer our products and services as an MBE approved vendor.

Can we change the text that appears in our sponsored links?

No. We use compliance approved ad text when generating your links.

Will my links show up in the search engines 100% of the time?

While we monitor the WES PRO name placement links on a daily basis, 100% uptime is not possible. In fact, uptime figures vary by search engines because of the way they run their programs. Our current uptime figures (as of February 12, 2009) are 99% for Google and 98% for Yahoo. We encourage you to direct your customers to use Google because of its superior uptime rate.

Is WES Pro available for Co-ops?

WES Pro is currently only available for individual centers. We are currently working on a WES Pro solution for Co-ops and expect it to be available in 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2009.
